Above: The "Rover" just after we bought it. It was in good shape, but clearly needed a little pizazz!
Above: The "Rover" after many weeks of work. Obviously painted, but notice the diamond plate rock guards, and the custom jack stand featuring a piece of Max Snazzy's Honda Civic struts.

Above: Rear view of matching spare tire and newly welded bumper. Thanks to James Sunkel for the welding work and the use of his shop. Also notice the diamond plate backing for the lights which replaced the old rotten wood.
Above: View of decorative wrought iron on the screen door. The fact that this camper has such a cool old screen door just did it for us. (Mary and I are easily entertained, probably because we don't watch TV or have "smart phones", just "dumb phones" and plenty of time out of cell service range for us please!)

Above: Another angle of the bed. Does it seem really blue in there? Curtains were sewn by Mary and cut out of the non fitted sheet that came with this set.
Above: New wheels and axle with a 4 inch lift kit to meet the demands of the really stupid places we go. I bought the wheels when I was 18 for a truck I no longer have. I found them last Thanksgiving in the barn back in Missouri. But there were only three???? However, that works out perfectly for a camper that only needs THREE wheels. Much time went into polishing them and painting.
Good job on this trailer's makeover! It definitely looks newer, modern and more durable. I especially liked your paint job and interior decoration. Nothing greater than being able to make your mobile home feel as though you've never left the house. Good thinking on placing rock guards and the backing for the lights. The before pictures do make it look like it's going to crumble anytime soon, but now it looks like it's brand new!
